Sweet set! I recognize the name of the guy auctioning them off (Gary Dolgoff)...he's always had full page, front of the book ads in the Overstreet Guide as long as I can remember. He snagged the inside front cover of this year's for example. So I'm sure he knows his stuff and is pretty close to the mark for prices.

Have you picked up the "Showcase Presents Aquaman" TPB? Yeah it's black and white but it's a great quick read of these vintage Aquaman stories, including his earlier "Adventure Comics" appearances.

you can also get the first issues in the Archive sreies for way less than that ebay lot.

I think that is the only volume so far. Its got the silver age run from Adventure? and Showcase in it.

Wow! 12 cent comics! I always liked the Aquaman cartoon, (insert Ted Knight's voice here), but man those are expensive!:terror:
