Had Evel with Stunt cycle(white Suit), Evel: Red Suit, Blue Suit, and Evel with Snake River Canyon Rocket. Evel was My Favorite Toy before Mego! But of course...He hung out with the Mego's...even though He was a little short.

I had the stunt cycle set as a kid and like most it got beat up from all of the "stunts" I put it through (didn't take long either from what I recall). I also had that car, can't think of the name of it, but it had a fat bumper on the front of it. I reacquired the old set about seven years ago and it's in great shape including the box. I actually have two boxes but only one complete Evel set. One of the great iconic toys from the 70's!

Are you kidding? Man I thought I was Evil Kneivel when I was a kid.I tryed jumping everything with my bicycle and wipped out many times just like he did.Cam remember laying on the floor in pain while mom doctored me up LOL . Man E.K. was one of my favorite toys growing up.I trying jumping that stunt cycle over creeks and everything.I never got rid of them either I still have Evil ,Scrabble Van with box I always put it back in box after playing with it,I have a chopper and an extra bike.I always wanted some of the other things but mom and dad couldnt get them. I lost his helmet somewhere down the road if someone has one. Also I still have the thermos but think mom sold the lunchbox when I was a kid. If anybody has one Id be interested. I guess I've said enough man you opened up alot of memories with this topic dogman67 Thanks Jerry

I just my my Back To Basics Toys catalog, and there's a "Father and Son" Evel and Robbie set, w/ Evel, Robbie, 2 cycles, 2 winders, 2 ramps and brick blocks to stack. I'm so getting these!

As a child I only had the Chopper, white EK, and the red racing suit EK. I never had a launcher and I had to push it on the floor to make it work.

Now I got a bunch of old stuff, plus all the newstuff.

Hardygirl, I too got the new BTBT catolog and saw the new set, I'll have to get it as well. :silly:

I had Evel in the white suit with the stunt cycle and launcher. I also had the Team America version that Ideal made later with the hard plastic rider. I had the Team America Dune Buggy with figure as well.

I have the Playing Mantis reissue of the Stunt Cycle set now.

I had the stunt Cycle and the launcher along with E.K. wearing a white suite. Not sure what happened to them. Most likely he died in a very dangerous stunt then I got rid of the other stuff.

I had the Camper Van with the hard plastic tool box.
I also had the Bike with EK that did so many jumps over ramps and books,
down stairs...but I have no idea what happened to him...lost in time.
I now have the re-issue EK on bike, but he hasen't done many jumps.

I had so many great toys as a child that have almost all disappeared over the years.
But I still have my childhood favorites:
Mego Spider-man
Action Man (with eagle eyes)
Lego.

Those were the days...we thought they'd never end. :crying:
(Thank God for e-bay)
__________________________________________

Forgot until now
but I also had a Evel Kenevel jump suit/ costume
(Blue with white stripes and stars) that I wore to a street party
to celebrate the Queens Silver Jubilee in 1977.
I also won a competition and was crowned prince for the day and I had to KISS A GIRL :terror:
she was 5 years older than me and about 12 inches taller than me.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

Yeah, my friend from Action Figure forum told me he bought a new repro Evel Knievel figure and Stunt Motorcycle last year at the Wall-Mart I think. He said the saw teeth is fragile when you pull the stem hard then the motorcycle is running because it is brand new but mine vintage one is stronger than repros.

This one is the same kind as mine and my brother's MIB Evel Knievel. It went over $300!

I didn't have any Evel stuff brand new, but I did have his Scramble Van with the cycle from a yard or church rummage sale. I used to push it all around the block with all my Megos inside, traveling like Billy Batson in the Shazam TV series. I remember thinking how cool it was that the red, white and blue colors matched the JLA logo at the time. It was fun, until I lost my Aquaman on the way home from a friend's house; after that, I hardly ever used it. I hadn't thought of it in years.

Cool stuff

I had the basic Evel with stunt bike white outfit. I still have the original one and his suit is all covered in dirt and grime (I thought best to leave him alone than try to wash away the memories). The helmet/bike/and launcher are all long gone.

I also have a really nice Evel Knievel lunchbox and thermos.

Would love to have the pinball machine

Thanx for interest my Evel Knievel Bike. :)

That Bike is came from Bicycle factory but I can't remember the name of company who made that but when I found out then I'll let you know.

My father bought that from the Toys R Us and gave it to me for my Christmas present, I loved it! 2 years later in Summer, 1978 I rode that bike at near Drive In Theater, I stopped there and walked around in the field and came back, I can't finding my Bike, somebody stolen my Bike!!!!!!! :7:

In 1983, a teenager boy sold my Bike's front wheel to my father at his Speaker Shop (I worked for him there), he noticed that is original came from my Bike and he asked "Where did you found it from"? "That wheel is original came from my son's Evel Knivel Bicycle, I am very angry, I'm going to nail a guy who did stolen my son's Bike and parted it out then I'll report this to the Police Station, You BETTER finding who sold that wheel to you!!!". The teenager boy is frightened and ran away, what a COWARD!!!

Wow, that was a cool bike Pat. Sorry it got stolen. That stinks.

I had an Evel Knievel Big-Wheel-type chopper ride on. I've mentioned it here before, but it had two huge back wheels and one smaller front wheel, with a long, chopper-like front fork. It may have been made by the same company as your bicycle, not sure.

A neighborhood "friend" destroyed it. I've never seen another like it.
