I didn't think they could get much better than Die Fledermaus, and then they introduce Batmanuel in the Live Action version.

Forget Grant Morrison's Cave Batman or even Pirate Batman!
I think Cam Clarke voiced Fledermaus... he also did the "Fargo" Stormtrooper in the Troops parody. And let's not forget Kaneda from the English language dubbed Akira screaming "TETSUO!!" every few seconds.

I love The Tick in all his myriad forms, including Toyetic. I really dug those Tick Action figures.

The animated series is my favourite though.
The Tick creator Ben Edlund also wrote one of the best episodes of Angel. Smile Time.

Where they turned Angel into a Muppet.

Loved the TV show. Warburton was the perfect choice for the part. Too bad it didn't catch on.

My 10 year old recently got into the cartoons. I really enjoyed watching them again with him.
I still have most of the toys, but my large talking Tick has gone missing. I think a former roommate kept it.

I bought the big talking Tick figure for my kids when it came out. This thing is amazing, we have had it for all these years, it has been played with hard, tossed boxed moved etc. and the original batteries still work!! Love it!

The Tick lives on through the Venture Brothers....sort of. You've got Patrick Warburton from the live action series on there. Chris McCulloch who use to work on the cartoon and live action series is on the Ventures. And Ben himself has been involved with a couple of episodes.

Loved the comics, cartoon, toys. The live show disappointed me somewhat with all the changes, but I love Warburton in anything...
El Seed still cracks me up, and the repetitive Mad Bomber. And Octo Paganini--wild!
(Enjoyed Freakazoid, too!)

I read afew comics. Ticks momentary brush with lucidity in teh begining was sad and scary. I like the catoon. Mucas tick was a great idea and I loved the swiss army with thier Giant Knives.
The live series was EXCELLENT.
I think the problem is Too much like Seinfeld for the superhero fans and too much like a comic for teh Sitcom fans.
I loved they did not show big fights like in the Destroyo episode.
Show was ahead od its time..
Terror played by Quark was Super Awesome! Coming out about going super? The side kick support group? Golden
