All pre 1990 versions! I see the early nineties as the beginning of the end for my interest in any of these characters comic book adventures. Dying, broken backs, and....welll dying again, were all stunts that did in modern comics for me....even if those stunts were 10-15 years ago now.

Like Chris I have a softspot for the golden age/E2 heroes. As a kid I read marvel and DC but like soem others the 90's turned me away. Too expensive and they were eliminating too many classics (evil hal Jordon come on)

I've always had a great deal of affection for the great Golden-Age characters, the more obscure the better. Hence the love for Hoppy the Marvel Bunny ;) I was bored one day last week and actually fleshed out the Wikipedia entry for Hoppy:

1) Hoppy the Marvel Bunny, closely followed by the Golden Age adventures of the rest of the Marvel Family
2) Captain Carrot and the Zoo Crew
3) the Justice Society of America
4) the Fantastic Four ( Jack Kirby era and John Byrne's run)
5) Captain America (Mike Zeck era)
6) every goofy, offbeat, obscure Golden Age character Roy Thomas resurrected for the Invaders and the All-Star Squadron
