I'm pretty sure this is the computer my girlfriend in college had in her dorm room.

When I got my first "real" job out of college in 1998, the office where I worked still had one of these!

My dad got a "Timex" key board to attach the the TV to make a computer. He never used it. My friend Brian had one, and showed me how to use it, but my dad didn't believe I knew how to do it, so it just went to waste.:muh:

I would not get a PC for another 7 years. In 1985, I had to buy a 124K Macintosh. My university required ALL students to have. It was pretty cutting edge for the time, but it really became nothing more than a glorified word processor when I switched from electrical engineering to political science.

That's cool, I had never heard of the VideoBrain before.
My first computer was the Commodore 64. I got it when it first came out around '82. A year or so later, it really caught on, and it cost a lot less than what I paid for it. That's what I get for being an early adoptor (and I still am!) :smiley1:
