Is the Neptunian with yellow on suit a true variation, or is he like Robin and Aquaman with green turning yellow over time?

I've had a couple of suits with wings that had faded, but I've never seen one where the suit looked this nice and the wings looked so yellow. It's always tough to tell from a photo, but it may be legit.

So what would these carded Neptunians normally go for? in the not so distant past, folks might have paid $200 for a carded Nep... these days, they generally close in the $100 range ,and in nicer condition (no bubble dent, etc)

I've seen these fade from green to yellow. I had one that I bought in a half way state and over a couple years completed it's transformation to solid yellow. I'm of the mind that these are all fade jobs, but I can't say that is fact.
