Anyone catch Dark Avengers Annual featuring the new Captain Marvel?

Steve Rogers shows up at the end alongside Bucky Cap. It kind of suggests who will wield the shield.

Once Dark Reign is sorted out, it might be cool to see Steve Rogers as the head of SHIELD for a while before he goes back to being Cap eventually. Or would people want to see a Winter Soldier ongoing written by Brubaker?

I'm assuming they are giving us that one panel "spoiler" on purpose to encourage speculation and hype up the Siege crossover.

Seriously though, doesn't this image kind of evoke Steve Rogers, Agent of Shield? And just to throwback to the original Bucky Cap costume bru-haha over the gun, it looks like Steve is packing heat in that holster!

I'm not all that thrilled about the new Captain Marvel costume.

I realize they are trying to evoke Mar-Vell's original outfit with the fin-cowl, but I think the Ultimate Captain Marvel design was better at melding nostalgia with a contemporary feel.

Why is Captain Marbles talking to a shop vac?

Steve Rogers returning as Captain A might draw me back into a comic shop to buy a couple issues. Steve as a SHIELD operative...nah! Even dusting off his old Nomad costume would be better than that.
