    Not out of Business...alive and kicking

    Lets not shovel dirt on Castaway Toys yet. They seem to be making an improvement on their delivery system, and getting orders out over the last two weeks. I have received everything I have ever ordered from them, and usually in a timely manner. Its a shame that some people had not received their items right away, but I am confident Castaway will make it right.

    I hate to see a small company get beat up and held under water when they have produced such great items. New bodies, new accessories, new clothes, head sculpts...etc.....

    They dont have the luxory of making their own figures, and are held by the Nads by china. When china finally ships then they have product to ship out, it doesn't do any good beating them up, when they are waiting for product.

    Ok feel free to start beating me up, But I will always be a Castaway fan.

        sounds like they are definitely trying to fix their problems. ordered stuff from them before, took a couple of months but i got it! woohoo!!

          Every time I have ordered my goods, I have gotten them in a timely fashion. Even when I ordered my Phantom, I got him within 10 days, so I have no issues. I feel confident in saying these guys are as reputable as any you could do business with and any bumps in the road will be addressed. I think they are good people who are streamlining their process to make it more efficient. I have every intention of ordering from them again and wish them nothing but success. Great product guys!

                I'm a castaway fan too! I love their Captain Action figures and will continue to order from them as long as I can.

                      As noted in the other thread, they still need to improve their communication when it comes to customer complaints/inquiries, but I'm hopeful of finally receiving my item in the days/weeks ahead.

                          I think they are trying to ship and mail out items, instead of going through the e-mails.....thats the way I understand it.

                            Communication with these guys sucks. I sent them a number of emails, and never got a response. Could not even get verification they had recived my order.

                            But after a long wait I got my stuff. Yah.

                            At least they are better than The Mego Store in that reguard. Im still waiting on an order thats well over 2 years old now. Keep being told its on the way but nothing ever shows up.

                              I guess that's the end of 'This Thread' praising these guys....
                              ....as for the mego store, waiting 2 years for a paid for item.....just means you got ripped off........learn from your mistakes......they will both be out of business very soon.
