    Boy Wonder

Been working on a Robin to go with my recent Batman. The head and boots are from Toyfanatic, belt from Monkeydepot. I wanted to make the design a bit different, so I took some inspiration from the Lily Ledy Robin costume, and Tim Drake's. I might change the hair color to brown, since the head sort of has a Burt Ward look to it.

I tried something different, replaced the thight joint with a ball joint, I should have done the shoulders that way, too.

Interesting. He looks athletic, but the outfit seems a bit clunky for an acrobat.

What's clunky? The tunic? The batrope is gone now. It wouldn't stay in place, and I figured there, he'd be catching his knees on it all the time.

I like the idea. Robin looks more like the original inspiration, Robin Hood. Can't wait to see the completed figure.

Bolt, how do you make the tiny metal eyelets?
        Hey! Check out the pictures.

Eyelets from the craft store in the scrapbooking section. There is a assortment with 5 or 6 colors.

he looks cool, but it doesn't loook like Robin to me,the accessories are awesome though

they would be cool for a Stallone Cliffhanger figure

The boots and the utility belt. Acrobat slippers are tight and flexible like ninja boots. Hanging pouches move around and throw balance off.

I gave him a belt that would fit with his mentor's. The boots were the best looking one I could find outside the original pixie boots. I wanted something a bit more real world than those.

Ooh, that's gonna be another kickass custom, Joe. Really looking forward to seeing him finished. And be sure to show a pic of him and Batman together

I like it! Looks like a Robin that could go with the JSA Liberty Files Elseworld Batman.

Wow ... you're onto another masterpiece!!! I love the tunic with the eyelets, you have such a cool unique vision. I want to see more pictures with the revised mask, he looks almost like Elvis Costello with the large openings!!!
