batcycle repair

    batcycle repair

    Hey guys,

    i won a blue Batcycle the other day.
    And of course it is broke in two at the side car conection.
    does anyone have any advise on this repair?
    I have some ideas, but just wanted to know what some of you have done?

      Yeah, that'd help. Personally I'm a big fan of running pins through stuff.

          There is nothing wrong with the cycle part, but the pin is broken off of the side car.
          So the problem becomes joining a squar hole w/ round hole? Any ideas?
          LMK.
          When I do get it fixed I will post pics to my solution for others.

            How about finding a screw with a head that fits tightly in the square hole and just screw it in the broken off part?

              That's an idea. I'd probably find a dowel that fit tight in the square part, drill out the rounded end for the dowel, and drill a hile through the sidecar bracket AND dowel, top to bottom. Run a metal wire or rod through to hold it on.
