So today I'm checking in with something we can all relate to. That one crap candy we got as a kid that we just hated. I'm sure everyone had their own least favorites, but every kid I knew hated one particular candy. I think I've nailed it. Think you know what it is? Candy corn, by itself is not that good, but I'm telling you guys, candy corn is cheap this time of year and mixing it with some dry-roasted peanuts makes a heck-of-a tasty treat (provided you like Payday Bars).

Man, I just watched the Halloween episode of "Everybody Hates Chris" where his dad bought knock-off candy: Gravy Ways (Milky Way), Nickers (Snickers), Butterthumbs (Butterfingers), Two Musketeers (Three Musketeers), and M&N's (M&M's).

(in best Moose A. Moose voice) I don't like Candy Corn.

The only thing I use Candy Corn for is to see if one piece still perfectly closes up one nostril right before I throw it into the trash. No lie.

Edit: I just did some quick Google research and found out that those putrid Black and Orange candies mated with those bathroom caulk-scented Circus Peanuts, and Candy Corn is their evil offspring.

as a kid I liked Circus Peanuts, but would feel so sick after eating more than one, and I also liked Candy Corn. now if I have either one it's like automatic headache and puke feeling.

That orange and black candy definitely takes the price.

I remember back in the day when it was acceptable, my worst encounter was receiving a little bag of homemade popcorn. Most of the time it was half burnt...no butter or anything. Who in their warped mind hands out little bags of popcorn thinking it is a great trick or treat gift.
