    Mutant Mego - BatMan

Hello ,,this is a Batman Im working on for my
    own collection.
He's not quite done yet ,Im working a better cape.
I built him on My new Mutant Mego 8 inch body.
The new body offers loads of articultation for more posing power.
He stands the same size as a 8 inch mego adzactly .
So he blends in nicely with custom mego flatt style figures.
He has cloth shorts and cape.
The body was cast In correct colors. No paint involved excepts for head.
He features a batman dead end head
I sculpted a couple of years ago.
Ill post better pics once done. thanks for looking

Very nice. I think the bicepts still have to much of that Jakks Pacific Wrestler look going on. The look isn't quite consistant with the rest of the body.
            Hey! Check out the pictures.

thanks guys for the cool responce on the new batman. I think your right Troy...Im gona rework the arms some more and tone them dowm and give them a little more definition. Im real happy with the body so far,,a little more tweeking and I think I'll finely have the figure I have been waiting for since I was 9 years old. Ill post more pics of him compared to a mego 8 inch tonight. thanks again for the cool feedback on my work.

If you can give the arms the same angular look that you have going on in the legs & torso, damn! That body will be awesome.

Thanks for the kind words. I think every customizer should try to make their own body. Not to sell, but to go through the experience. It's a hard thing.

I'm not sure where I'm at with the Cave Body. On one hand it's really cool to have every part of a custom made by me. On the other, when one takes in to account the time and materials it takes to get a custom body together, it makes more sense to buy a Doc Mego body and add custom parts to it.

I'll keep playing with the Cave Body. Like CM, I also need to refine parts. I want to add more articulation to the ankle and add a swivel bicept. I also want to get rid of the elastic in the shoulders & hips. I also want to play with some different casting mediums. The stuff I'm using is a bit to rigid for some of the parts.

In other words. There's still a lot of work to do.

Sorry, I really didn't intent to hijack the thread.
                              Hey! Check out the pictures.
