Contest: What in the (Mego) World?!

In addition to my new Blog series devoted to cool toys (World's Greatest Toys!), I am also working on a brand-new and very different series of Blogs.

… and this Blog Series is a contest! With prizes!

The contests are a riff on the old Dynamite Magazine puzzle-pages, called "What in the World?"

The difference is that these contests are firmly rooted in the Mego world.

Read the blog, and… Good luck!

Contest submissions should be addressed to me directly: [email protected]

I look forward to your answers!

    Benjamin

            Ahhh!

            So close!
Could've sworn that was Mr. Fantastic's box.

This went almost as quick as my Mego cards contest a couple weeks ago. You people are too smart!

Congrats Paul. I knew Batman's box and Torch's outfit, but Aquman and Cap really stumped me.

Fun contest Benjamin. I am kicking myself for missing Cap's star. It seems so obvious now, but Clark Kent's SI outfit seemed like as good a choice as any at the time.

That's the fun of it, isn't it? Once you see the answer, you think, "Uggggh! I shoulda gotten that one!"

Paul, the winner of the inaugural What in the (Mego) World?! contest wrote me a very nice Email, saying the objective of any good game/quiz design is to make it "difficult enough to challenge people but not so difficult that the player gets overly frustrated and quits."

Based on the answers I received, I think this initial quiz was a good balance. But trust me: These are going to get much harder!
