I just received a Hoodman H713 and a Lady Command M181. I'm wondering if anyone knows how to spot a reissue figure. The Hoodman came in the classic case but is in excellent condition (never thought a figure looking good would be a problem). He also has numbers and letters on all of his limbs - I don't know what that means. The "Microforever" website says the reissue Lady Command has a smoother head than the originals but I've never seen an original to compare and my figure has, what I consider, a smooth head. I appreciate anyone who can help. First post so I'm not sure how to attach a photo but I have several if you want them. Thanks.
Also, I've heard from a few collectors that the hooks which hold the rubber O-ring inside the body are bent on reissue figures where the originals are flat. Has anyone found this to be true? Both of my figures have bent hooks...
