    Mike Wieringo has died

I am totally stunned by this. I have been a fan of 'Ringo's work since his days on the Flash.

A stellar talent with a very distinctive style that didn't inhibit his fine storytelling.

I met him once, years ago at a con. Very nice, approachable guy. He even looked over my portfolio and offered me some tips.

I'm reminded of Don Newton passing away, in the prime of his career.

    Just so sad.
