You familiar with the art of Guy Davis? Sandman Mystery Theatre and BPRD? It finally hit me that his art is what your sculpting reminds me of.

You got pics of the resculpts?
Yeah Joe. I just have to decide which pics to take off so I can upload them to the mm member Gallery.
Hey nice work! Do you mind if I ask what kind of clay you sculpt with and how do you go about making the molds for the heads?
I'd kinda like to give this a shot at some point but have been somewhat stand offish due to the complexity of making the molds, etc.

Thanks Timb,I love your drawings!I used Clay-stone (an air-dry modeling clay, with little to no shrinking)on these sculpts(I coat the clay sculpt in modpodge).I'm going to use Smooth-on to make the molds. Thanks Orlock,Thomas, and Joe,I appreciate the positive feed back on these! Now I just have to finish the Hunch-back mold I started last week(ran out of rubber a little short of finishing) and make the Bride mold and I will have all the Classic monster heads I sculpted (I also have another sculpt for Wolf-man and another sculpt for the Phantom,I might make molds from them too,all tough I also made a Tengu sculpt I need to make a mold for first maybe,he might be tricky to make though since he has a very, very long nose).

Thanks Thomas.I Got some great castings from the molds yesterday. The Hunch-back, the Bride, and the Asian Warrior molds are great. The 2nd Phantom and The 2nd Wolf-man are good too but they have almost no neck plugs. The only one there seems to be a problem with is the Tengu mold, his wolverine-like hair is not coming out completely on the left side(other-wise its good)I'll find out for sure when I get some more resin(I only made three castings from the Tengu mold and then I used up the last of the resin on the rest).I started painting up one of each(from each mold) of the castings today.I finished the Hunch-back and the Bride(my wife took the camera to work today so couldn't get any pics),now I just have to finish painting the other 4 .I'll get some pics tomorrow(check back then).

Well actually Thomas I plain to make molds for an entire Creature body,I wanted to see how the molds for the hands come out first, but actually after I saw your post yesterday it made me feel like sculpting some feet too,so I did,and then I sculpted the torso halves(front & back),and one calf. Thanks to you he's almost there just have to sculpt the other parts now.Still working on the hand molds a few more layers of silicon and they should be ready.
