Was mego the last company to hold both DC and Marvel licenses at the same time? Do you think something like that will ever happen again?

I could have swore Toy Biz had both licenses at one time in the 1980s. Not positive, though.Check out ALL my customs at https://www.facebook.com/megowgshcustomsComment

Yeah, should have been a bit more specific--I believe companies such as Medicom (who have done RAHs of Spidey and Batman for instance) have held in some way both licenses at the same time--but as far as just store-bought action figures, I certainly don't remember any company having them both in my life time. I understand these companies are in competition with each other, but if a toy company does just a fantastic job (like mego did) it would mean more money for both--but I don't think it would ever happen again.Comment

I'm not sure if toybiz had them conjunctively, they had Batman, then the DC characters, lost them to Kenner and moved to Marvel. While the two appeared on shelves together, if I'm correct, they were not tied to one another.Places to find PlaidStallions online: https://linktr.ee/Plaidstallions

Yeah. Toybiz's DC stuff was out in 1989. Their Marvel stuff came along a year later. Of course like you said, they had lost the rights to DC to Kenner by the time they started doing Marvel stuff.Comment

Those Comic Book Champions pewter figurines (released mid to late 90s) featured characters from both DC and Marvel comics.Comment

Marvel and DC are willing to play in the sand together, although they do have
a distinct rivalry. Hasbro and Mattel are the Hatfields and McCoys. You're
either one or the other.Comment

If that's true, I guess my question is if they'd ever visit the same Doctor, if you catch my drift.Comment
