Removing tuna cans stuck to frozen, severed heads using a monkey wrench?? That's one of the most bizarre things I've ever read. You couldn't make sh*t like that up. :smiley1: Oh dear god, I hope that the keepers of Walt Disney's frozen head and/or body aren't so twisted and cruel. ;)

Just imagine that, because of the freezing process or something, there's still some awareness in him, and he knows what's happening to him. And it is like that for him forever!
I can see him thinking: "Here comes the tuna can."
"Oops! There comes the wrench!!!"

Just his head? Huh? Did he want to be cloned or be a head in a tank like Futurama?

This story made me sick to my stomach when i read it. If i remember correctly it wasn't ted williams who wanted his head saved, it was a member of his family that did it.

His son talked him into it. His son died a couple of years later and is also frozen. Ted' s older child fought this but lost and didn't have any more money to keep fighting. In the end Ted did what ever his son told him to do.

It isn't everyday that I read something that is so disgusting, offensive, macabre and outrageous that is also on another level hilarious.

I was still living in Boston when the whole freeze his head debacle was taking place. I remember thinking What the @#&% ! when his Son was trying to get this done. To be honest I know there are things coming science wise that will blow our minds , but the thought of a head or brain that has had no electromagnetic energy waves firing through it being reanimated and that person retaining his / her thoughts memories or personality really is disturbing as well as Hillarious. Well Then again...... Didn't it happen for Mr Freeze in Batman the animated series....... Oh wait that's right he was still alive....... oh and that was a cartoon. LOL !

John Henry Williams died of leukemia at age 35 in 2004 after a bitter court fight against Williams' daughter, Bobby-Jo, who contended the wishes expressed in her father's will should have been followed. In the will, Ted Williams said he wanted to be cremated and have his ashes scattered at sea.
Son...dead. End of BS!
Follow the will and cremate Ted as he wished. Toss his ashes off a Carrier with full Military Honors. As a Marine Fighter Pilot in two wars, he deserves it. Dammit, he was John Glenn's wingman in Korea. Where is John Glenn on this! John Glenn has some stroke!
Give Ted a respectful burial like he wished.

You know that is true, We sometimes forget that he was a War vetern , and it's really sad. With the son dead, this should be over with and his daughter should be able to know get this done.
