Do Barbie Cars work?

The Mego cars always seemed underscale and Barbie cars tend to be underscaled for her... So are there certain Barbie cars that are better fits for Mego scaled characters?

I'm thinking of making a couple of custom cars and wondered if it might be better to track down some of Barbie's rides instead.

I've got a knockoff Barbie car sitting in a closet just waiting to be a Batmobile for my 9 inch figures. Someday.... It does look like they would work ok for Mego.

They're undersized for Barbie. They fit Megos nicely.

I used a Barbie van for my Mystery Mobile and it was the perfect scale:

I've picked up a couple of the sports cars and they seem to fit OK. I think they're less oversized than the Mego originals were undersized if that makes sense to ya.
