WWE star Jeff Hardy, who lost a loser leave WWE match to CM Punk two weeks ago as a storyline reason for him to leave WWE and pursue a reality TV show, has been arrested in North Carolina, Wrestlingobserver.com is reporting.
During a search of Hardy's house, Moore County (N.C.) officers say they located and seized approximately 262 Vicodin prescription pills, 180 Soma prescription pills, 555 milliliters of anabolic steroids, a residual amount of powder cocaine, and items of drug paraphernalia.
Hardy could be charged with felony trafficking in opium, two counts of felony possession with intent to sell or deliver a Schedule III controlled substance, felony maintaining a dwelling to keep controlled substance, felony possession of cocaine, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
He is being held on $125,000 bond in the Moore County Detention Center.

The WWE is loaded with drug addicts and bums.
I'm surprised the US Government hasn't found a way to complete shut them down - considering they're basically a "kids show".

I've always joked with my wife that he had to be on some major pain killers because of all the high flying, crashing through tables stuff he does. Looks like I was right.

First, currently it would be former WWE Superstar Jeff Hardy as the "loser leave town" thing was done as he wanted to take time off and did not sign a new contract.
He was bailed out within a few hours by "his brother" according the sheriff's dept within a few hours.
None of this is surprising since Jeff already had two strikes for failed drug tests and it was drug use that led to WWE originally letting him go.

They tried to put Vince McMahon in jail in the early 90's in some highly publicized steriod trials. Long story short the goverment did not "cross the T's and dot the I's" and lost the case.
To be fair if they shut WWE down for that they'd have to shut down actual sports as well where the players make more money and the drug problems are just as bad.

That's really a shame My Son is a Huge Hardy fan....The Pressure of doing well and performing at higher levels in this biz is what usually comes of this. Hardy really pushes his body to the extreme. But selling Drugs Wow that's low.....

Looks like CM Punk was right when he was talking about this stuff during their feud. Wonder if the writers will throw in a "see? I was right" for him?

Randy Orton is a Known Pot Smoker....
I heard an Interview with the Guy 1 time,.. where he stated that He was Smoking a Joint on a Toliet seat in a Bathroom before a Match one time,.. & Vince just happened to walk in, & catch him. Vince Suspended him for 6 months . Orton claims when He's high,.. it helps him focus in the ring better.

Vince suspends Orton because he smokes pot? :smiley1:
The hypocrisy of it all makes me laugh.
Here's Vince...who's roided out himself...and suspends a wrestler for pot smoking...pot smoking...lol.

They should.
The disturbing thing is that the fans/crowd...consider Jeff Hardy the "good" guy...and CM Punk...who is perhaps indeed the ONLY clean wrestler in this whole fiasco...the "bad" guy.
The WWE fans are a bunch of idiots.

I think that's the reason they can't. It's not really a sport. It's more entertainment. It would be like the government trying to shut down Hollywood with all of the drug problems they have.

I read this this morning and I am shocked. Then again maybe not. Last I heard his WWE contract was up anyway so he is very likely finished with the company anyways. I am sure his brother Matt is being investigated now as well.
These guys are under so much pressure to before day in and day out that it does not surprise me that he would have a stash of stuff like this. While I have no clue what his intentions were , I would lean towards him just keeping a supply. However I agree these guys do not learn. After the Chris Beniot debacle that should have really woke up these guys, Not to mention Andrew "Test " Martins death , and Batista and Rey Mysterio's recent suspensions due to positive P.E.D, tests.

BK , I am not sure actually. I doubt they will announce the suspension. It would probably create more bad press for the wrestling industry. I would say they probably have a normal worked story line for something WWE like. LOL !
Although I hear he is oft injured lately so he maybe announcing he is hanging them up, who knows anymore with half the crap they try playing off these days. They are hurting badly in recent years , and well worse since there really is not a deep interest anymore. I think it's because they need to reinvent themselves again , like around the time of the n.W.o and DX when those were new and inovative. I also think that there is no real competition anymore..... TNA is a joke. If Batista is done I think it could really hurt them on star power.

I wonder what Batista Will Say ..., It is far to eairly imo for him to come back from his Injury ... I think whatever Happens in that I quit Match Between Cena & Orton,.. Might Pave the Light at the Tunnel for Batista's Announcement.
I don't think Wrestling is that bad today... It still has it's ups & downs,.. Boring Weeks,.. & fun stuff other Weeks. With characters like Santino,.. & then HHH With Shawn again,.. it's still fun stupid stuff.

I can see that being the case. I am not reaally a Santino fan, however I do find his little skits funny. I am glad that they put HHH and HBK back together I think they work better together than against each other like they had in Shawn's return. I do like they way the brought Shawn back with the Unsantioned match , but less than thrilled with his ringside role as a member of the n.W.o ( well the WWE incarnation anyways ) . I also agree I got a little burnt out over the last 2 years with wrestling , However I still watched here and there, and there were boring weeks , and good weeks. The DX stuff is pulling me back in.

really sad with all that talent that neither one had a damn brain cell between them. If you look at old tapes of them, they were freakin tiny compared to now. Even when they first got to the wwe they were small.

Yeah, less than 300 vicodin isn't really that much all considering, some people go through crazy amounts after building up a tolerance. I don't know much about soma though, never came across it.
I don't think somas are in the same class as vicodin, they're a non-narcotic.

300 vicodin is not much? sounds like a crap load to me.
