Why didn't you just bid?

Sold some doubles in my magazine collection this week, honestly I just wanted some space more than cash. The bidding wasn't fierce by any stretch and i sold everything to three people.

What was weird about it was, one guy who bought three issues would email me at the end of other auctions and say "I will pay double for this one" but he didn't even bid on the thing!

Also, he wanted me to be dishonest for $30, not to say I have a price but it's not exactly my breaking point.

I just don't get it, he bid on a couple of auctions days in advance and won, why not throw bids on the others?

Seriously, I've stopped trying to figure out why people do odd things a long time ago. It's an exercise in futility. Everyone has different types of logic, I suppose. The way that guy handled things probably seemed perfectly logical to him, while I personally think that was kind of loopy.

Did all your auctions end around the same time, maybe he could not get to a computer for the ones he missed?
