absotively! there was time when i could find new JLU figs at Target almost every week, and then NOTHING for like almost a year, i got tired of looking and seeing the same damn Supermans, Batmans, and Wonder Womans!!!

but i happened to be in early this morning, and there they were--GL, Shade, Dr Light, Vixen, Vigilante, Orion, Elongated Man! i grabbed the two i didnt yet have and ran for the checkout, grabbing Simpsons SSN 10 DVDs without breaking stride.

I am really starting to hate Target. I have been looking forward to the reset for weeks, hoping they'd restock the JLU figures. They didn't. The one store in my town actually took an aisle of action figures away... they don't even have the Superfriends figures. One store now has the Doomsday box sets from last year back on sale.

It's ridiculous. I don't think Target has restocked JLU for two or three months, and I haven't seen anything brand new there since late in 2006.

Same here, Steve. I checked today and I know it's been two months since I last went there.

Same crap, only a little more thinned out.

Same for me. I've stopped going to Target at all.

You sure it was the one from last year? This set has been reissued with a "lava" doomsday. Also yet another version of Amazo and Bizarro and now contains the Justice Lords versions of Supes, Bats and Wondy.

I found it today at my Target and I only bought it because I missed the Justice Lords pack when it came out originally. Plus I liked this version of Amazo (although not sure why he's "neon" green with spots.)

I am absolutely 100% positive. It's an orange box with the same plain Doomsday as last year. I bought a couple when they were cleared out. The new purple boxes with the lame orange Doomsday haven't shown up here.

I really don't know who to be more annoyed with... Target for never restocking their JLU figures, or Mattel for doing such a crummy job of distributing them in logical waves. There are so many "old" figures I haven't seen, like the Volcana or Star Sapphire 3-packs, or the orange carded Vigilante wave, or the brand new single carded wave with Blue Devil, Lex, reissued Vigilante and Orion, and Vixen... I honestly cannot in 25 years of collecting remember a time when I had a more difficult time finding new mass-market toys.

While I certainly appreciate that Mattel is trying to make a boatload of different characters, including the obscure ones, it doesn't do me any good if I can't find them except for people selling on eBay for 3 times cost or more. Not that I haven't been tempted anyway...

There are 2-3 Targets I visit here in the D/FW area on a regular basis. One is already gearing up for Christmas and has reset their toy isles in prepartion thereof. They have the Superfriends, new JLU figures and a full stock of Legends. I even found 2 HW Batmobiles there last weekend. I'm still insearch for the ML Icons Silver Surfer . . . . no luck anywhere here!

I scored a Blue Devil finally, but did have to go through the net for it. I bought a set of 6 new figures for 36.99 which included him as well as Sinestro, Lex, Vixen, Shining Knight and Batman. They arrived yesterday!
