I just finished watching the second season of this seventies cop drama with a twist. Anyone else a fan of this series? It stars John Simm who potrayed the Master in the past season of Doctor Who.

I've watched two or three episodes of the series, eventhough I have the DVD sets onhand, I haven't torn into them.
I think the show is brilliant, captivating tv and I was thinking Sim would make a great Doctor before they cast him as the Master.Places to find PlaidStallions online: https://linktr.ee/Plaidstallions

It's a modern show seemingly set in the 70's Anthony, you're not sure if the lead character has time travelled, is in a coma or is somehow trapped in TV.Places to find PlaidStallions online: https://linktr.ee/Plaidstallions

I loved this series. It isn't available in the USA, but I downloaded them all (both seasons/series) and burned them to DVD and my wife and I really enjoyed it.--

I love what a pastiche this show is. Particularly of The Sweeney, but I think it also borrows quite a bit from The Prisoner as well.
I can't wait for Ashes to Ashes, but I will definitely miss John Simm. Kudos to BBC for allowing their programs to end when the creators feel like they are done with them.
Are we allowed to discuss the ending of this show? I would love to hear what your intepretations are, but I also don't want to spoil it for the rest who haven't seen this yet.Comment
