I'd buy the loose one for three times as much because I'm an idiot and I can't resist a seller who sticks Mego figures in out-of-scale non-Mego playsets.

People can be stupid, but some of these sellers need to give folks a little credit. Or maybe, the seller is not as smart as the "dumb bunnies" he is trying to sell to.

Maybe this seller is on to something. He has sold 4 of these in the last six weeks for anywhere from $40 to $71.

I've seen this "Klingon bridge" go for over $60
But I wouldn't say it's that out of scale, Megos actually look pretty good

Muppet accessories are perfect Mego scale, but the sets were made for Muppets that weren't themselves human-sized and weren't visible below their waists, so they tend to be short.

No problem. I am not sure what I'll do with them, but two just hit my doorstep yesterday. I'll probably stack them next to the pair of Madelman ships that I couldn't resist from a couple of years ago. I have no closeout control whatsoever.

My set landed today. Does anyone have any idea how the extra console pieces are supposed to fit iinto the set? There's no instructions or pics with the set to indicate what they're for.

Anyone have an idea how much shipping to Belgium would be? They don't ship internationally, but maybe I could have it shipped to someone else, who could then ship it to me... if shipping isn't too high that is...

It weighs 4.35 pounds, so figure another 1/2 pound for a box:

$37 flat rate box (if it fits in a flat rate box)
$36 regular box

I calculated this at 4 pounds 12 ounces. If it weighs more, the flat rate stays the same. the regular box goes up to $39.50 anything over 5 pounds, up to 6 pounds.
What you could do is have some one mail it to you in small pieces and just pay 1st class international, if it breaks down small enough. A half pound envelope is $7 1st class. If it comes with packaging you don't need or if you don't need Miss Piggy, it might work.

It occurred to me to track down an old review of this set:
http://www.mwctoys.com/REVIEW_120103a.htm
Apparently there's no right or wrong way to put the extra consoles together. Cool! I'm loving this set more and more. Oh, and I was right, the Mego female figures seem to fit marginally better in the seats than a Mego male figure would.

Hmmm, not really worth it then at that price. It's still a little cheaper than buying the set here in Belgium, but it's not worth taking the chance of it breaking or getting lost in transport. Oh well...
