    Custom 12" Megos?

Does anybody have any thoughts or experience customizing 12" megos. I'd really like to do a 12" classic Batman sometime.
Wanted:- 12" Robin Shoes; Mego Batcave, Mego Die-cast Batman-loose, Mattel-BSG Gold Cylon loose.

Interesting idea. Probably why you don't see too many is because it's harder to come across a 12 " body that isn't being used to restore a vintage Mego character. But a great idea non-the-less!

I agree ... for 12"ers, it's much more common to see GI Joes/Dragon etc.. being used (a zillion different body types by various manufacturers with incredible articulation as you go up the price scale).

Like the 12" customs I posted here:

It sounds like a very interesting Idea to do customs with the 12 inch Body. I'd like To see Paul maybe make a repro 12" body or even Dave/ Jason with castaway come up with one as well. I wouldn't mind a 12" Custom Superman, Batman or Green Arrow.

Hey, those are some cool customs 60's Child. Great stuff!

If anybody can get ahold of them, the company that made those 12" pilot figures might have some bodies left?

This is a 12 Inch Mego style TV Batman. This guys was painted by me and I did most of the outfit including the belt but a pal did the buckle for me. The basic jump is a Dr Mego too. The boots though were from an on line repro boots guy Wes McCue. Real deal Mego body which is of course a bit bigger than a GI JOE or whatever. It goes to show that the larger scale figures do lend themselves to customs too though I hope.

Wow! what a great West-Batman. Yeah I wish the Dr. would do a few more things for
12" figures. I don't think I can do something like emgee but I would like to make something like Mego could have made. I thought of using an old superman the tough part would be the of course the cowl. Any thoughts on that

Between the 8" suits orders and potentially now 12" ones, there should be a gold plaque in your new house with MY name on it ... (like when someone underwrites a new wing of a hospital, library or museum)..

After a few more orders, I'll expect your next kid to be named after me too!! (which will be REALLY awkward if it's a girl!)
