Extensive interview with Marty Abrams on POTA Blu Ray boxset!

I wasn't aware if anyone knew about this or if it had already been discussed. A good friend of mine bought me the Planet of the Apes boxset on Blu-Ray for my birthday and maaaaaaaan does it rock. But on the first disc, under 'Marketing of the Apes', it has a fairly extensive interview with Marty Abrams about his ability to acquire the licensing to make the "Apes" Megos. Lots of footage of the vintage Mego commercials too. I was hoping someone had posted the interview on YouTube, but no such luck. It was a nice surprise in what has to be one of the best movie boxsets I've ever seen. Absolutely awesome. :yes:

I have been eyeing that Blu-Ray set for some time now but have been reluctant to pull the trigger since I own the entire set in non Blu-Ray.

Yeah, He and his son are on the blu ray set extras.

The majority of them were shown in between the movies on Fox Movie Channel marathon of the Apes movies when they came out.

I also noted he sounded a lot like Robert De Nero in those interviews :)
