Toy Show Haul...OR I must have been channeling Luey...

I have not been around the last few months. Work, Summer Activities and getting ready for a new baby, I have been swamped... Anywho I broke for a few hours this morning and went to a Doll show at eh the local Shriners Temple... I was never more happy to have gambled $2 for admission... I got everything here (click the image)for $171...

I almost laughed out loud when I saw $10 each on them... it was a sureal moment stacking all that stuff up in my arms and proceeding to the front to pay for it... it was like time travel shopping. I am still reeling from the toy high

Everything is minty, it's ku-razy... Ali was a woppin' $20 , and the Johnny West was $25 (all his accessories are still sealed in the plastic bags on the sprues)... All in all I still can't believe the luck...

I recently had a dream very similar to what you just experienced in reality. In the dream, I found a bunch of Joes, Megos, and Best of the West stuff on a clearance shelf and I snatched it up. I swear the endorphins were kicking in while I was dreaming, so I can only slightly imagine the rush you must have experienced snatching up those gems for such an awesome price.

                        Way-to-go! Congrats!

The Arctic and Jungle Explorer are more uncommon that carded figures, but I wouldn't say super rare. There is a Street set, with a denim outfit(vest, Bell bottoms very 70's) that is rarer. I haven't seen these on Ebay lately...

Dave, thank you very much for posting close-ups of the Evel sets!

Man, I thought I was pretty savvy about my favorite toys, but those are new to me. Very cool to see Evel could have adventures outside of his televised exploits!
