Yes it's true - no hoax. I got a Kirk and Klingon at the ComicCon today. It was the only set I saw, randomly hidden in some Comic Store's booth. $17.95 each. I can't send pics because I'm still at the con (posting on a friends PC) but I can assure you they're real!
I will post pictures on Sat/Sun when I return. They are very cool. The package is similar to a super-clam but you cut away the edges to expose the re-sealable package.
