I don't care that it's a complete rip of POTA...I LOVE this Cover! I either had it(or a reprint)as a Kid. It really brings back memories...it's just AWESOME!

Years ago I use to dismiss a lot of Kirby's DC stuff and later work. What a fool I was - Kamandi is one of the best action comic series ever!

oh man I grew up on Jack King Kirby .Kamandi was awesome through out the 70's I had the first issue after seeing this I need to rebuy it.awesome story awesome drawings

Well, he had a girlfriend named Flower in #5 but she died in #6. Then there was Pretty Pyra, the hot alien chick who could turn into a ball of energy.
Then came Spirit, who if I recall correctly, was Flower's sister. And Arna, who aged & died.
