Why does my picture need to be approved?

Just tried to upload a picture in the user gallery but after uploading it says it must first be approved by the mod. Never had this happen before so why now?
Also how can I make my pics smaller? Everytime I post them to a thread they're huge. Thanks!

Because you didn't upload it to the Members' Categories.

I think I can move it, but I'd rather not have to do it every time. Please upload to Members' Categories next time.

Yes, I noticed that, too. The Old Gallery would resize the pix upon uploading, but here, we must resize them first ourselves before uploading, is this correct, ABMAC? At least that's the way I've been doing it. If there's an automatic resizing that would be more convenient but I don't know how to do that.

i will figure ut the uploading. its easier then the last forum. i uploaded a pic but teh rest i think were too big. mike
