    Life size heads

    Has anyone here ever tried enlarging a Mego, or other make, head to life size?
    If so, what were the results?

    I'm working on a couple of projects and if i can't get the heads sculpted i may have to try this route.

      Some people say my real head is bigger than lifesized. Maybe I shoud have it shrunk.
      It's not a doll it's an action figure.

        Neat-o, Ian. Who are you trying to sculpt?
        Those who look outside dream. Those who look within awake.
        Samples of my work are found here: Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness

        To do list:
        1:6 boots for Mathilda, 1:1 Romulan Commander outfit, Ursus helmet; Cornelius appliance
        1:9 scale ape's new suit for Cornelius;

          I'm after life size sculpts of Christopher Lambert and Clancy Brown from Highlander ( Connor and Kurgan ).

          Someone just customised a life mask of Sean Connery as Ramirez to fit a mannequin for me but he isn't too keen on sculpting the others from scratch as he say's it too time consuming.

          If i can't get anyone to do them for me, or it turns out to be too expensive, i may have to try and enlarge my Sideshow heads.

            It seems i'm going to have to try and hydrospan the heads to life size.

            On guy in the states quoted me $4,000 per head to sculpt from scratch and another, here in the UK, quoted me £13,000!!!
            Hydrospanning them will probably cost me around £200 each.
