View Full Version : Law and Order UK
So;
They showed this the other day. It's pretty good. If you like Law and Order you'll like this, 'cos that's what it is. But I was expecting a black SUV to pull up at the crime scene. 'Specially when I saw who was the barrister's assistant....

You're thinking of the French.

There are a lot of things in the court scenes that seems weird. There's a term they refer to the judge with that sounds strange, but oddly enough I can't remember what it was....

My lord.
I think they only wear the wigs in Crown court ( the highest court ).
I think the show got panned by the critics. Also, i read Freema upset the BBC for doing this show.

Good morning Worm your honor
The Crown will plainly show the prisoner who now stands before you
Was caught red-handed showing -- FEELINGS
Showing feelings of an almost human nature
This will not do

HAW! Very Dickensian. Hmmmm.... HOW old are you?

I could see that. The police part was just like the police part in the American show; which I suspect is somewhat different from how real British cops work. (Seriusly, they were stereotypical NEW YORK cops....)

Yeah.... this one isn't the BBC.... it's the other guys.... ITV? I guess she left Doctor Who for this, the competition's big project.
