    Mego-scaled lightsabers?

Are there any sources for lightsabers for custom Megos? The 1/6 are way too big. I even bought a Disney Donald Duck as Darth Maul for the saber. In the package, I was hopeful, but when I stuck it in Superman's hand, it was too small.

I use those colored transparent plastic brush handles that comes on hobby paint brushes. Just cut 'em down to length, make a handle (or paint the end to look like one) and you got a cheap and realistic looking light saber.

The Star Wars Transformers lightsabres look like they would be about right.

Tothiro had some in the marketplace a little while ago. You might check and see if he still has any.

Capt. got most of my tip. The transparent brushes are a good low cost solution. If you can find the ones with metal flakes in them even better. For the handles I like hobby shop aluminium pipe. Its shiney, So no painting.

Hey thanks - but I thought it was for your *cough*"daughter"*cough*

Here's the ANH Obi/ROTJ Luke version I've made. I'm making an ESB Vader and a ANH Luke as well, but they're not finished since life is busy right now. The saber blade is available in transparent blue, light green, red or yellow. The blades pop in and out of the handles, which are color resin cast. (the blade and handle are $10 plus $2 for ship)

If you're looking to start your own - I use Plastruct brand 1/8" fluorescent rod ... the original saber hilt I did was built up from styrene sheeting, aluminum tubing, copper tubing and sculpting wax.

                          A daughter? Me? I wish.

That lightsaber was for one of my female figures, and it goes perfect with her.
