    Replacing Type 2 Hands

The tutorial for Hands is missing at CustoMego.

Anyone have a link to one or can tell me how to remove/replace hands?

Boiling water....place the arm/hand into the water for about 15-20 seconds....should pop right out. If not, repeat.

      Hmmmm....

If you're taking just the hand off, use a pen or pencil to push the wrist pin through. If you need to take the wrist off, I'd take the hand off, and run a paper clip through the hole. Use the paper clip as a handle.

And if none of that works, push the pin out of the elbow and replace the whole shebang.

I am thinking of Painting my Andorian Blue and wondered what to do about the hands. But maybe I'll farm this one out...

^^ Yeah....the hot water method has always worked for me with Mego, Doc Mego, and CTVT hands and wrists.

The pen or pencil works great if you just want to take the hand off at the wrist.

I guess if I paint it or have it painted, I need to pull the pin and paint that too. And the Forearm... aaagggh!
