    Anyone know anything about this guy or if he was at MegoMeet 2008, or if that was his bridge at MegoMeet 2008?

      I guess he was at the Meet last year. There was a big to do here over him and that bridge.

      He entered an online Prop building contest. He got everyone here all fired up to vote for him. He said the people running the contest were cheating..

      It got really nasty but he ended up winning. And it was the last we saw of him.

          I vaguely recall something about the contest but I thought the guy posting here did lose... Wasn't Diamond supposed to mass produce the winner? That contest? Was that the contest/post?

              No diamond had nothing to do with it. Winner got a Prop phaser and a chance to win a captains chair...

              The people from the prop site started coming here andvica a versa. There was alot of name calling and questionable voting. He ended up getting a big lead and won the gun.

              you should be able to find the threads on this.. There were alot.

              The contest was sponsered by a prop making group/website I forget what. BUT they were dead set against TOYS. And thats what they viewed the bridge as. There was a big question as how and why he was even let into the contest.
