    Spiderman suit design

I was curious bout the Mego Spiderman suit, is it based from the classic comics "The Amazing spiderman"? i was just watching the cartoon Classic SPiderman and noticed the suit, it only had web lines on his mask and on his suit it didnt and just had a spiderlogo, which is more accurate or can we use both?

    Thanks

Spider-Man is such a great iconic figure/super hero anything can really go with this one. I made my own version of Peter Parker mego. I based it on his look from the 90s animated television show. I always liked how he appeared in that animated, I thought it would be different then his traditional Shazam head that they give him.

Whatever you feel like in your heart is the best, go for it. Spidey is Spidey and anything really flies with that guy. You should see the cool Black "movie-like" Spidey that the other Cat (SlipperyLilSuckers) did. It is hard to describe but it was her originality and creativity that went into it. That's what is cool about this place. You can pretty much do what you want.

The lack of webs on the 67 toon Spidey was more than liekly a money saving move.

Hey Yakkingwithfaze. I'm somewhat of a '67 Spiderman historian. I grew up with the show and have done alot of fact finding through the years. The webs were left off the chest to keep the episodes in budget and allow animators to finish each adventure in a timely fashion. What you may be interested to know is there were many early costume designs that were rejected for the show (see below). People tend to forget that Spiderman, as a character, had only been on the market for three years when this show came out, so some artistic license was to be expected. Also note that Stan Lee and John Romita Sr were the story consultants for the show so this Spiderman, at least during season one, was the character at his very purist. Almost every episode in season one was pulled directly from early comic issues, including the same titles. When I hear people complain about his look in this cartoon, I laugh to myself and consider what they might have thought had the animators gone a different direction... All in all I think they did a very good job.
