Carlton Cards is issuing ornaments for Count Dracula and the Andrew Lloyd Weber version of The Phantom of the Opera, as well as a new Godzilla ornament to boot. Looks like I'm goin' broke this season

Nothing says "Merry Christmas" like the undead! Actually if they do a Frankenstein next year, there is no way I can't have it.

Guess I'll be buying that. And I'm happy to see they are still continuing with Godzilla, I've been buying those every year.

Godzilla is great. I wish they made a Gamera ornament. Maybe even an Ultraman.
Lo there do I see my Father.
Lo there do I see my Mother and my Sisters and my Brothers.
Lo there do I see the line of my people back to the begining.
        Lo they do call me.
They bid me take my place among them.

Not bad. I picked up the Hallmark ornament catalog this week, and I have to say the sculpting on most is sub-par for Hallmark. Maybe the photos are bad, or they were in the early stages of sculpting when the photos were taken.

But yeah, Christmas ornaments jumped the reindeer long ago. It would make a great Halloween tree ornament though!

My kids have gotten so bad about taking ornaments off the tree and breaking them that around 12/12 this Xmas, I pulled all the ornaments off, boxed them up and covered the tree with Dollar Store toys, some open, some carded. It actually looked pretty darn cool.
