Bodies for superheroes

what is a good body to get for making superheroes? type2 or type3? and is there any difference between the dr. mego and Castaway bodies or they pretty similiar?

i am looking for a body for Fazeman

I have to say that the Type 3 bodies look awesome! Otherwise, I don't have either a Castaway or a Doc Body except for the Doc Body on my Emcee Scotty and Andorian which I am not sure is the same that you would get if you just ordered a body from Doc.

Type 3 aren't for sale as blank bodies, only if you buy one of his customs. The Castaway's feature an extra point of articulation, a swivel bicep, otherwise its the same as a Doc Mego.

Short of bulding a Custom Body(which the Parts can be bought from People here)...Cast-A-Way has the most Heroic Body, due to the bigger Arms with swivel Biceps...at an affordable price.

Well, you also were asking me about were to go for this stuff the other day offline and I was really busy

so this is the basic rundown....
As far as good quality you get what you pay for at Dr. Mego's Repros (http://www.drmego.com)
but with the current economy right now a lot of people can't really shell out the cash for some of those goodies and you have to settle for a little less quality but super fast shipping. I **** you not. I order something from these guys and about four days later it is at my door. Amazing!

You get what you Pay for.
2 Bucks for a BS Crappy CTVT Body... Sure,.. it's cheap,.. But I have yet to have one that has yet to break on me. The Body hardly Moves,.. unless you re-string them. The only Body I'd ever Buy from ctvt is the Skeleton Body ... Just muy 2 cents.

Doc Mego Flesh Bodies are 5 Bucks a piece.
Gotta little bit more Cash ?... Castaway Bodies are 8 Bucks.
Sometimes you Might be able to pick up some type 2's for 5 a Piece on Ebay,.. if you watch & are lucky enough to snag them.

Like I said,.. you get what you pay for. If you got a Budget,.. save your cash, & take your Time. It makes the end result so much sweeter. :wink_y:

Here's my favorite Custom Body type, I used for my Year One Batman: BlackKnight's Torso & Head, BlackKyptonite's Arms, and Doc Mego lower half & Fist Hands(which Doc will cast in any Color:wink_y:).

The CTVT male and female bodies blow chunks. The kid and Teen bodies are good, tho.

Doc is good people, and his stuff is top notch. I definitely recommend him for making customs.
