Seen the one post about super jocks got me to thinking. Anyone remember the Johny Hero figure from the mid 1960s?
He came in a red jersy and had a foam rubber/ wire skeleton body. His head and hands were hard plastic. He was over 13 " tall. I think he was a sears exclusive.
I didnt have any of the assessories to him. One thing I didnt understand. He had a spike in the palm of his one hand. Guess that was so he could hold different things. How that didnt destroy all his assessories I dont know. This was a metal spike. (Boy would that not fly a few years later)
Much to my sport fanatic dads distaste my Johny never played sports. He jammed his spike into the other action figures heads to puree their brains.:googly:
