My review of the Phantom and Skull Throne

If you meet a guy wearing purple tights, you might be tempted to laugh. If he turns out to be the Ghost That Walks, that wouldn't be such a good idea. Cast-A-Way Toys, makers of Mego style 8" figures, has released their new Phantom figure, both in purple and in the exclusive 'gray ghost' costume. I have a review up at my site tonight, plus over at Quick Stop there's a review of the nifty Skull Throne Diorama that they created just for him.

Awesome Review, and awesome Figure! Question...in your Picture, the Fleshtone is much better than the "darker" Bodies originally released. Is that the new Flesh color of Cast-A-Way Bodies?

Great review Mike and very nice shots. Hopefully there will be plenty of these figures made to meet demand. It appears to be a run away hit. Why stop when the market is green?

Very nice, fair review Michael. On a purely personal geek level, I have to admit it's a thrill to have you review something I worked on (the packaging in this case). I read your reviews 3 times a week, every week, and I always enjoy them, no matter the subject.

I know David and Jason worked their butts off on these figures (and the throne and accessories), and it's great to see the word spreading on these.

Hey Chris, beautiful work on the card art. I didn't think of this when I was writing the review, but it's the kind of thing you could frame behind the figure for display. Hmmm...I may have to go add that to the review...

As to the flesh tone, it looks good to me, and yes, it's lighter than CA. Don't know if that's the permenant new look or not, but David can answer better.

They're more than a shade lighter...but it's a good thing!
