Hello everyone,
I am interested to know which Wonder Woman variant is harder to come by. I think the information I am looking for was found in the MM Galleries but it's not there now so maybe I was looking some where else.
Anyway, I know there are a fair few variants out there but Im talking in term's of 'Large Star version' and 'Small Star Version'.
any help would be appreciated.
thanks

I think the rarity scale goes:
Large star shorts with boots
Large star shorts no boots
Silk screen cuffs (I believe this version did not come with boots)
Sewn cuffs with boots
Sewn cuffs no boots

thankyou for that info AusTex, I love knowing this sort of thing when doing Mego deal's so people can't use the old "this is the rare expensive version" and try to suck more money out of me.
thanks

I think silkscreen cuffs WW is the earliest and rarest(no boots bc they wanted to rush them out for xmas that yr and didn't have time to tool boots).
The large stars is just a more uncommon window boxed one.
Seems as though people people dont care as much about SS WW as they
do about the other SS gals..or maybe most dont know the difference.
There seems to be alot of misinformation out there on 8" WW rarity in all the publications on Mego to date.Benjamin straightens it all out in the
upcomng WORLD'S GREATEST TOYS book.

I'd definitely give the rarity edge to Large Stars WW over Silkscreen WW, but it's really only slight. They're both tough to find when you really want them.

My opinion in terms of rarity are as follows:
1) The printed eyeball outfit
(the one found in standard carded WW's - not Kresges)
2) Large star outfit with sewn cuffs without boots
3) Silk screen cuffs (with or without boots)
4) Sewn cuffs (with or without boots)
The large star WW outfit was introduced after the red boots were phased out. Even though the large star outfit does appear in the 1974 catalog when WW was introduced, that was a prototype outfit and was not used in production figures at the retail level until the boots were phased out and appears in the later 5 digit Wonder Woman window box.

Ahhh, I get it now. The Eagle has an Eyeball on that variation, but none on the others. I must've looked at that a hundred times and never noticed it.
