Is This What These Really Go For?

I saw these and thought about bidding on them (funny because my bid would have been like spitting in the wind).

But I've never pursued these before and really had no idea what they go for I decided to watch them instead.

I'm mighty surprised by the results.

The Spock, which was in the same condition, went for just shy of $60 which still seems a tad high to me but at least within the realm of reason.

Is this really what these normally go for?

Wow....I too saw this auction but I never thought it would go that High. AHI has similar POTA Galen and Dr. Zaius sky diving figures but they are in the $25 range.

Kirk must be pretty rare or at least hard to find on such a nice card (?). I'm not a Trek collector, but I don't just understand $300 plus for one of these. I bought a Spidey parachutist two years ago on just as nice of a card for about Sixty bucks. The highest I've seen any of the superheroes go for is around $85. Isn't this the same seller that had the carded "Mr. Rock"?

I'm not up on the Ahi Trek parachute figures so that kind of surprises me. As far as the superheroes go I've seen 2 carded Robin parachute figures go for $320 and the last one I saw went well over $500.
