Stupid question time

All right time for a stupid question,I was killing time waiting to leave work today and found myself fussing with my keys.Counting them, I came to find I'm carrying around 13 keys.So the stupid question I ask you,how many are you carrying around?Yes it was an uneventful day at work.

I never gave it much thought until now....I am carring 11 key's and the funny thing is , is that 2 of them are to my old apartment , and 1 of them is to my mothers old house that she hasnt lived in for 4 years !! Guess I need to clean up my key chains !!!:yeah:

Chances are those old keys still fit.I heard on tv one time most people don't change the locks when they move into someplace new.

and I always change the locks when I move into a new place. Not that I have moved in recent memory. I am here to stay. Moving sucks. As we outgrow the current house I just put another addition on

For me, it's not so much about the number of keys. My VW has a "switch-blade" type key that is HUGE - and heavy too.

Most days I just have 2 keys - the car and the house.

I've got another set with about 6 or so keys on it that I use maybe once a week.

Living in between three places and having three vehicles I have a lot of keys although I only carry about three of them with me in one pocket and a duplicate set in the other pocket just in case I would happen to lose the first set. So I guess I actually carry a total of six keys. One for the car that I am driving at the time, One for the house just in case the keypad entry happens to fail for whatever reasons and one for my garage in case I want to go through the man door instead of one of the over head doors with the garage door openers.

Guess I'm the odd man out? I have 13 plus 3 of those shopper cards plus a garage door opener plus a keyless entry keyfob and two large keychain dangly things (one is a brass plate with car brand and another is a mini billiard ball) LOL!! Yes, my pocket is full. Not only that but I took another set of keys off recently, haha.

I carry about 21 most of the time.No I don't collect keys.I'm a nightwatchman so I just carry my work keys on my personal key-chain.
I have keys for;golf carts,2 diff vans,over 80 buildings,and a zillion locks.
Some of the keys I have never even used yet!?!?!?!?
But apparently I will one day...Again!?!?!?!? :smiley1:

Wow! That is a lot of keys. How do you keep them all straight as to what they go to? Are they marked accordingly or something?
