I played that until the disk froze up on me. Couldn't find another to replace it with.
Zombie? Vampire? Evil clown?!? Yes, please.

Loved that game. One of the very few games I actually stayed up from dusk until dawn to complete.

My all time fave arcade game.

For the Atari I'd say Pitfall.
For Nintendo I'll go with Superstar Wrestling.
                    SNES I'll pick Super-Metroid or SF2
                    PS- Twisted Metal 1
                    PS2- GTA 2 or 3

But, with the amazing graphics of newer games like Fallout 3 and Killzone 2 for the PS3, I find it darn near impossible to get nostalgic for vintage systems. Video games are the one area of things I like that are better now than when I was younger.

Super Metroid, never get tired of it.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Atari 2600 games or cartridges made for it (which I still have):

                          Space Invaders
                          Plaque Attack
                          E.T.
                          Frogs and Flies
                          Demons To Diamonds
                          Video Olympics
"Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."

                            >with the amazing graphics of newer games like Fallout 3 and Killzone 2 for the PS3, I find it darn near impossible to get nostalgic for vintage systems.

I'm the opposite. I find new games look a lot better but play too similar to older ones for me to get real excited about them. That's why I never got a home system past the PS1.

As a weird aside, I also find older games.... REALLY old games, 2600 era, tend to be a lot faster than new ones. They require a lot less co-ordination (sine all you got is a stick and one button) but when I fired up the ol' system the other day it took a bit of practice to deal with the speed.

                            >loved the prequel mega man legends i think it was called?

Yeah! There were two of 'em! Good games, but Tron Bonn added stuff like your little robot buddies, that could do stuff or run around the country finding items you could experiment with to build new equipment. (Since Tron was the person who designed the equipment for the bad guys from MegaMan Legends.)

If you're ever looking for info on old games, this is a good site:

For my Colecovision system, I still enjoy Venture, Cosmic Avenger, Star Wars, and Star Trek. Still want to find that elusive Spy Hunter cart. I have the Atari expansion module so I can play all those games, though I don't have many Atari ones left.

My brother recently bought a stand up TRON arcade game. I never played it much back in the day because it swallowed up quarters fast. Now that I can play for free, I'm really digging it alot. In fact, my bro doesn't appreciate that I have the high score when it's HIS machine.

I definately prefer old school games.
