    Let the Right One In

I rented it from Netflix...and it turned out to be one of the best vampire movies ever.

It's a Swedish flick..has won many film awards...and rightly so.

Rotten Tomatoes gives it a 98% positive rating:

Let the Right One In Movie Reviews, Pictures - Rotten Tomatoes

I love one of the critics' comments:

"Think Twilight, but directed by Ingmar Bergman and starring twelve-year-olds instead of teens then you'll have a good idea what to expect of this Swedish vampire movie . . ."

In a nutshell...Let the Right One In is a film about a 12 year old boy who gets bullied at school...and later on befriends a girl of the same age...the girl as it turns out...is a 200 year old vampire.

It's rated R...so keep the kiddies away.

BTW...I don't know if this is good or bad...but an American version will be remade in 2010.

Like I said...one of the best vampire movies ever...in my humble opinion.

        Netflix offers different packages.

I have the 3 DVD's at a time package, unlimited, it's about $16 a month (plus tax...so the total is about $18)...a great deal.

You can also sign up for up to 6 DVDs...but the monthly membership goes up.

You only need the 3 DVD package one though...watch them, return them...presto...get another three...unlimited.

So if you watch one movie everyday...you can watch 30 Netflix DVD's in a month...lol...the key is to return them for replacements.

You can also watch them online on their site.

I picked up this movie a few weeks ago at Wal-Mart. I agree, it's one of the best vampire films I've seen. I have a feeling the Americanized version will probably suck though :(

I loved this movie. I posted about it in January after a buddy turned me on to it. I'll have to check out the dvd.
