Dave,
Did you ever get those pics I sent months ago for the Black Hole gallery ?

Yep, got them Mike. The Black Hole section is almost ready. All I need to complete it, is a pic of the naked 12" muscle body, and confirmation as to the body type used on those figures.
I have the Buck section pretty ready as well, just a few final pieces to go.

Dave,
A pic of the muscle body will be taken for you tonight, I just have to strip down one of my figures. :)
For the Black Hole series, only Harry Booth had the larger muscle body, the rest of the males had the normal 12" body.
For the Buck Rogers set, Dr. Huer, Draco and Killer Kane had the normal 12" bodies, while Buck, Tigerman and Draconian Guard had the muscle bodies.
All the 12" ST:TMP figures had the normal male bodies (except Ilia of course  )
The KISS figures came on the normal 12" male bodies, but Paul, Gene and Ace were also initially available on the much less articulated "skinny" bodies (the same body used for Sonny Bono and Lenny & Squiggy). I don't think Peter has ever been found with this body.
Hope this helps. :)

It helps tons Chris, thanks. Looks like I need to get a pick of that skinny body as well if anyone has one.
Should be noted that Chris has helped tons with the sections that are to come. So far only 12" Trek has been posted, but 90% of the 12" stuff I'm finishing up was provided by Chris. Good karma to you!

Dave,
I have a loose Spider-Man 12" and a Buck 12" at home. I'll havet'a dig them out but would a side-by-side comparison do? I could email pics tonight.

Very happy to help. :) I just emailed you pics of the muscle body and the normal one (including a shot of them together). I'm afraid I don't have a "skinny" body, all my KISS figures have the normal bodies, and I currently don't have a real interest in obtaining a Sonny or Lenny & Squiggy for my collection. :wink_y:
As I mentioned in my email, I believe all these figures had the muscle body:
Harry Booth (Black Hole)
Buck Rogers
Tigerman (Buck Rogers)
Draconian Guard (Buck Rogers)
Jaws (Moonraker)
Superman (the Christopher Reeves movie version)
Jor-El
Spider-man (the US version)
Magnetic Batman
the very rare non-magnetic Batman (different from the earlier released
"comic" Batman)
Anyone know if I'm missing someone?

Thanks for the offer, but I really need loose pics so we can get real detailed pics of the accessories.

Cool Joe. I figured between you and Paul, the CTVT parts dudes, we'd be able to come up with that pic.

Not sure about Ali and Who, but Dave is definitely looking for 12" Superhero pics (I could only provide the Hulk), so I'm sure he'd appreciate the help. :)

ALL of those pics would help! PM sent!
^ Dave,
do you still need pix of a 12" skinny body? I have a skinny Spidey and comic version Superman. All my Kiss figures are "muscle bodies". If you need 'em, I'll post 'em here.

Got the Skinny body, but can use the Peter Criss pics. I have the rest of the Kiss figures from Chris.
Okay, Dave. Got 'em. It'll take me a moment to resize them, but I can email you larger ones if needed. Be right back.

Okay, Dave...here are pix of my muscle body Peter Criss.
I scaled them down to post but I can email you the larger originals if you like.
1. front view. Peter's bodysuit is one piece with both the "stiching" from the chest to the crotch and the silver criss cross pieces on the chest attached. Additionally, the two thigh "zippers" on each leg are attached to the suit.

2. Peter's left hand has an original arm cuff; his right hand has a repro one. Here is a closeup of both. The one on the right is original and is hemmed on both ends. I am looking for another original one, but they're tough to find.

3. Here's a closeup of the front mid section:

4. Here's a closeup of the lower body. Note that the arm cuffs are still off from when I took the earlier photo.
The boots were tough to take off, so I was too nervous to force them. The "boot" is actually like a solid black platform shoe. There is a separate boot extension made of black vinyl with front silver stitching (similar to the stitching on the chest to crotch front area). It's scalloped at the top for leg movement.

5. A boot closeup:

6. Here's a view of the boots from the back:

7. Lastly, here's a full back view. Again, no arm cuffs:

I hope that helps you, Dave! :smiley5:

Nice job, now Dave can work on getting the KISS section finished. :)
Don't worry about not taking off the boots, I didn't take them off for my pics either. For the nearly 30 years that I've owned my KISS figures, I have never attempted to remove the boots, they just seemed like they would be too difficult to take off.. and put back on. I didn't want to risk breaking anything. My Ace has broken knee pins, but they will just have to stay that way (luckily his skin tight outfit helps keep him standing.. but I also use a doll stand just in case!)

Damn! I know someplace I have a pic of the boots separate from the boot sheaths, but I can't find it!
Oh, well.
I do have these two pix, of Peter's body suit and boots/sheaths separate.
These pieces are from a different figure than in the previous photos.
OH, and, like batmanmc, I also have a few OMBC figures if needed.
