Disabling Graphics

Joe,

On the new forum is therre any way to view it as text only - no graphics? All these animated smiles and message/subject icons are killing me on dial-up at home. Also is there any way to hide the Smiles and Post Icons so my computer isn't burdened loading all these unecessary animated things?

Most browsers have a preference setting for disabling graphics. The forum software will only let you turn off avatars, smilies, and signatures.

You can uncheck the Show Signatures, Avatars and Images options. But if you switch between a computer at work and home, you will need to adjust whenever you want to change, not wherever you log in from (unless viewing as a guest).
