Yet another GL (they are getting to be like batman and flash, right?)
He's had a wardrobe malfunction, so he's stuck in the house until he can get an emergency suit made.
The head is clearly a Green Arrow mod, and an intermediary cast to see where I still needed to tweak the original (note big honking mold line up the left front of his face).

That head is really shaping up. There are a lot of solid GL heads out there, but I'm not in love with any of them. Yours may end up being my favorite. I think the one thing I would tweak would be the hairline along the widow's peaks. It looks a little "too Ollie" right there to me. Maybe sculpt it just a little fuller through there.....and maybe a little less chin.
I know, everybody's a critic:-)
Yeah, I agree with most points actually. I want to "square" the jaw a bit more... I hadn't realized that GA and Long John Silver were the same base sculpt until a certain forum member just pointed it out to me - which will be very useful since GL here came about as a diversion project while I was planning to retool my GA cast into a Secret Identities Olliver Queen.
So I'll square the jaw up, add some smaller sideburns (they're taken off completely here) and extend the mask down to the tip of the nose...
I've already closed the mouth, but he's got a little bill murray lip going on so I need to smooth down his right lower lip, also make the top lip a little fuller.
I was thinking of taking the sides of his hair in and leaving it at that... I don't want to give him a pompadour and changing the side lines might tweak it enough. The other option is to give him a bit of curl at the end of the part but I think that would look out of place.
So the real serious question:
The ring. Right now it's a separate cast element on top of a white cast lizard fist modified to remove the scales. Before I did it this way I'd thought about making just a plastic plug in green that fit into a channel drilled out of where the finger would be, but then I realized I was over-thinking when I should be under-designing. What Would Mego Do?
Bare fist cast in white? Fist with ring sculpt cast in white? Fist with flat disc on finger and a sticker? Regular white T2 hand with a sticker? White bare T2 hand?
Opinions please :)

Wow I really like this one, I have been through 4 Hal heads so far and I am still not happy with his turn out. I like this approach very much!
