That looks pretty cool. :cool_y: I bought up some of those plastic bodies as well quite some time ago although unlike you I never got around to putting them to good use. That was kind of how I envisioned the transportation effect as well. You did a nice job.

What are those bodies from?
IF this is the same body that I have and I am pretty sure that it is it is the body of the human anatomy figure. The stomach opens up and you can take the guts (that come with the body) out of it. I bought several of mine from Wally world (aka Wal-Mart) for about a buck plus tax. I found them in the kids toys aisle along with a bunch of other misc. inexpensive stuff for little kiddies to play with. I "think" that I even seen these at dollar stores like Deal$ and Dollar Tree if you are familiar with those stores and/or even have them in your area. Hope this helps.

Yup, it's a human anatomy figure I picked up. I actually bought enough of these to make the entire main crew except for Uhura. Working on a Kirk and McCoy right now. The one thing I don't like is the way the hands are facing since a crew member would never stand like that with their hands facing out during transporting.
Still working on that part.

Here is how he currently looks carded:

As I also mentioned in my finished customs thread I have a better card for him in the works by Anthony but figured this one would do for now just to see how he displays :)

Nice idea.
" The one thing I don't like is the way the hands are facing since a crew member would never stand like that with their hands facing out during transporting.

With regards to the hands, cut them off at the wrist and re-position them, the join can be hidden by painting down a bit further.

That would be a good idea as it would no doubt look much better. It appears that the figures hands is pooching the bubble on the sides just a bit. One word of caution based on my experience working with the anatomy figure so far. Be careful cutting/modifying the plastic as it is pretty fragile and splits pretty easily. Good luck! I cannot wait to see the finished piece. It is really looking good so far. :cool_y:

I hope Anthony doesn't mind me showing a sneak preview of what the new "Transporter Series" cards are going to look like but I am so excited about them I can't hold back :)

I do need to add that the card image you see here is just a test sample and not the finished product. The final cards will feature each of the head shots pictured on the card with a transporter effect.
I can't wait to finish this figure and then seal it on the finished awesome looking custom card, and then of course do the other 4 figures...

Just came from Steve's House and WOW!!! I saw this one and all his other ST customs and believe me,..his figures are truly a work of art! The details on their outfits and accessories are so top notch! This is truly a labor of love,..nothing is missed here, from head to toes,..and the cards give them that mego-like nostalgic look! I tip my hat to his wife and him on such great custom figures,..makes you want to,.."COLLECT EM ALL"

Majorly cool Wyldpny!!! I went the other way and used the head for an Invisable man. Glad someone else spotted these figures and noticed the scale similarity.

Here is an update on the progress of these cool looking customs.
I was able to cut and re-glue the hands in a more natural position and I added more glitter to the figures so they have an even more realistic transporter sparkle effect:

Running out of star trek customs to do....?
Not hardly... We have currently made something like a 100 figures so far and with 79 episodes to work with and with some episodes having 4 or 5 characters or more we can create (not to mention unique ones like these Transporter figures), I don't see us running out of Trek customs to do anytime soon ;)

No transported series would be complete without the transported accident victims from the first movie though.

Well, if I ever do any TMP versions I will keep that in mind
