I've been obsessed with it since it came out about six or eight weeks ago. What a great game... it preserves a lot of the "old school" feel with a similar, basic gameplay while introducing some new elements (music, continuous play, stacked monster-eating scores). I love that the various modes are timed; the time limit makes you focus on efficiency and strategy rather than simply eating, though there's plenty of eating, too.
I just set my record two days ago, and my high score in 5 Minute Championship Mode is currently in the top ten in the world on the Xbox Live leaderboard All-Time list and #1 of all American players. The Japanese seem to have a tight grip on most of the top ten positions, but I'm trying very hard to break into the top 5.

I tried the demo and thought it looked pretty cool. Just not really my type of game. Props on your rank though! I've been playing Overlord on the 360.
Way to represent Steve! I avoid Pac-Man games on the PC since I know I could become obsessed with it again.

Someone has to strike a blow for the old folks. I'd bet I'm probably one of few people in the top ranks that actually played the original arcade game in the 1980s.
If you were into Pac-man, you should try this new version... Aside from Ms. Pac-man, I'd call this one the first true sequel to the game.
Other than that, I've been playing Crackdown and Saint's Row a lot, and I have Dead Rising coming soon. I'm usually pretty impatient about those "sandbox" type free-roaming games, but Saint's Row was fun because you could make your avatar in the game look like yourself. It's just goofy for a middle-aged suburban white guy to be running around with all the gang members. Crackdown's pretty cool just for the jumping around the city from rooftop to rooftop like a superhero.
I'm also looking forward to this week's release of Bomberman on Xbox Live. I may have to renew my Gold subscription just to play 8 player online matches.
I did download the Overlord demo and I couldn't get into it. The demons seem a little too silly to me.

Sorry for the thread necromancy, but I thought I'd post an update. I entered an online Pac-Man Championship Edition contest and won. I ended up with DVDs of Tron, The Wizard, Wargames and a Nintendo DS game. I held first place from day one through the end. Here's the leaderboard up to the finals and the final results:

Someone was getting close to me at the end, but I managed to raise my game a little bit. I ended up with 454,950, which is #1 in the U.S. and #3 in the world. I actually ran over to a friend's to borrow his camera so I could record my run and be a super nerd...
